====== How to use the Germaniki? ====== === Reading === Would you like to read the Germaniki content?\\ Write your search phrase or word you are looking for in the search mask left. Press the Return-Key. That's it. If an article doesn't exist and the search result tells you "Nothing was found", then it's possible for you to create this article. Klick the button "Create this page" (below left). === Writing === **Registration** The first step to create or to edit something is to register.\\ Klick at the button "Login" and **beneath** the following mask you will find the word //Registration//. Now follow the instructions. Your password will be sent as an eMail. Now it's possible to login. **Change your password** Klick the button "Update your profile" and follow the instructions in the mask. **Example** If you need an idea for city page, please have a look on [[example-city|Example City]] (you can also find this in the main menu) **Edit an existing article** If you like to edit an existing article, there are two ways: - Edit a section: Klick the "Edit" button and now you can add headlines, pictures or simply edit anything. - Edit the complete page: Klick the "Edit this page" button on the left side //The best way// to edit anything is to have a look what others have done or to have a look into [[syntax]]. If you have finished editing: * show a preview * change something * show a preview again * write a short summary * and save. **Create a new article** If you would like to add a new article for a new place in Germany, please do it as following: * have a look at the menu on the left site! Click at the point "Template". * click on "Edit this page", click in the edit field and copy the content of the "Template" (Strg + a -> Strg+c) * click "Chancel" * type the name of the new article e.g. "Newcity" in the search field * now click on the button "Create this page" and click in the field * paste the content from "Template" in this field (Strg+v) * now you can write your article.
